History:                       Competed at national level in New Zealand throughout high school and university.

                                   Represented New Zealand in two sports.

                                   Provincial championship wins at 800m through to steeple chase.

                                   10th in the marathon at the world university games in 1983 and 14th at Honolulu international marathon (1989).
