Privately, Greg is President of Glenhuntly Athletic Club having been an
athlete / member since 1974. Greg’s own athletic career, at state, national
and international levels provides him with a valuable insight into sports
medicine. Greg competes in hurdles, sprints and field events and is well
know in athletic circles.
Professionally, Greg works as a sports physiotherapist at Top to Toe
Health at the Manningham Medical Centre (200 High St) on Tuesdays,
Thursday and Saturdays and Mercy Private Hospital in East Melbourne in
conjunction with numerous orthopaedic surgeons.
We are introducing Greg so DAC members know someone locally who can assist
them if they require a physiotherapist.
Greg’s interests are shoulder disorders both pre and post operatively. He
also likes treating knee, ankle and general muscle injuries. Greg has a long
history of providing professional advice to a variety of International
Sporting Teams and events, including: the Olympic and Commonwealth Games,
Deaflympics, West Indies cricket team and the European International
Track & Field Grand Prix Circuit, North Melbourne Football Club, as well as
local athletics clubs, soccer, basketball and weightlifting teams.
Greg was appointed Grenada Team physiotherapist for the Beijing Olympic
Games. His association with Grenada developed at the Melbourne Commonwealth
Games.
Greg is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), the APA
Sports Physiotherapy Group, Sports Medicine Australia and Deaf Sports
Australia.
