Doncaster athletes excelled at the Victorian Championships at Lakeside at the weekend. Congratulations to the following athletes who competed in these championships for the first time: Renee Reardon, Sue Kilmartin, Lydia Rinaudo, Navid Rashid & Michael Gallacher.

There were records aplenty. Paul Mierisch set records in every event, running times he wished he’d run in the previous age group. Wendy Smith and Kim Peak broke many records and continued their remarkable improvement as they enjoy the sport they only took up recently. Laura McLennan and Sue Kilmartin also set new records.

The first race is a 6km cross country relay at Jells Park. We would love to see you there to have a run with us. There are no limit to the number of teams we can enter, and they are free to DAC athletes (and friends!).
