It was not the best finish for the season for Doncaster. With venues far from our home base, and LA Regionals on, many juniors were at regionals and parents were with them. Now for the playoffs!
The weekend also featured the World Cross-Country Championships with Colleen Kelly coming eighth in the W60 race in 35.04.

W40+ 100m Wendy Smith (10th), 3000m Sue Kilmartin (3rd)
Brodie Mierisch again shaded his father with 1,325 to 1,286, with David Firth on 1,200, Campbell McLennan on 1,101 and Darryl Kilmartin on 1,002.
Sunday was the Victorian Pentathlon Championships at Lakeside, with a number of Doncaster athletes competing. Some of our athletes competed in both. Unfortunately Campbell injured his adductor in the long jump.
