2018-10-13 Shield Round 2

Doncaster Newsletter

The second round of Shield competition returned to Doncaster and a higher turnout of local athletes. This resulted in the men’s 40+ team giving Shield Champions Diamond Valley a big scare with a score which would have won at any other venue. The men’s under 18 climbed into second, and men’s under 16 and women’s under 18 eclipsing Diamond Valley to move to the top of the table.

This Saturday will prove to be challenging for our athletes as they will have to travel out to Williamstown and Casey Fields to score valuable points to keep in touch with the leaders.
Don’t forget that Doncaster will be hosting competition again next Saturday the 27th from 1pm, we look forward to seeing as many DAC athletes, members and families as possible attending to support the club.
