David Firth competed in the open Victorian Championships and finished a creditable eighth in the hammer throw.

On Sunday the Victorian Masters held the Pentathlon Championships with Laura and Campbell competing in their first pentathlons, both medalling. Campbell broke the long jump record, and both set new club records for the pentathlon. Kath Gawthorn attended to video the sprints to allow for electronic times and assist generally. Thanks Kath.

In a fortnight many members of the 40+ team will be travelling to Bendigo for the Victorian Masters Championships. Good luck!
A reminder for those who are not planning to compete in the cross-country season, the Doncaster Masters hold a competition every Monday evening and you would be welcome to have a run with them.
For those keen for cross-country, the season kicks off with 6km relays at Jells Park on April 18th.
Please Join us at 7pm sharp on Saturday, 14th March for a great Q&A night with some of our elite athletes!
Athletes include, Liv Ryan, Joel Tobin-White, Katherine Katsanevakis, Liam Procaccino, Abbey Caldwell and Declan Carman.
The night is set up to hear and learn from these athletes to help share some of their experiences and to pass on some advice that will be relevant for athletes of all abilities.
This event is open to all members, past and present of the Doncaster Athletic Club, Doncaster Little Athletic Club and the Doncaster Masters Club. We also encourage you to bring family and friends to enjoy the night. Everyone is welcome.
