Our DAC Podcast series for 2020 is in full swing. There are currently eight episodes available with new episodes launching every fortnight.
The latest episodes have featured the ‘where are they now segment’ This segment brings some past and present members onto the podcast to share some insights on the club history, their athletics careers and the contribution they have all made to the club over the years.

DAC athletes selected for Target Talent Program
Athletics Victoria have recently announced the squads for their Target Talent Program (TTP) for elite junior athletes and we are pleased to announce five Doncaster athletes have been selected for the program.
Endurance: Abbey Caldwell and Luke Sinn
Throws: Owen Rice
Horizontal Jumps: Anthony Jordan and Petra Edwards
The program is designed to develop and support junior athletes who are in the top tier of performers in the state and prepare them for national competition. Congratulations to Abbey, Luke, Owen, Anthony and Petra on your selection.
Seeking: Uniform Coordinator
We are looking for an interested athlete or parent to take on the role of uniform coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
– Answering member queries regarding uniforms
– Assisting members with trying and purchasing uniforms
– Processing purchases and liaising with the club Treasurer to ensure finances are accurate
– Monthly stocktake of uniforms and reporting to DAC committee to request new orders of stock
– Year round availability of uniforms which would involve stock being moved to your place of residence.

Seeking: Joan Mahoney
We are seeking information on the whereabouts of 1983 Life Member Joan Mahoney after whom the Female Athlete of the Year award is named after.
